That’s Not My Wife: Alleged Drunk Winds Up in Wrong House—and Bed

Hey, at some point, we’ve all needed a good night’s rest after a bout of partying. It just may not be the best time to meet your mom’s neighbors.

Police said a 26-year-old Connecticut man thought he was in his mother’s home early Saturday morning when he, in fact, drunkenly wandered into another apartment, crawled into bed and fell fast asleep. Whoops.

The victim told authorities that he heard someone—he assumed his wife—enter his home, walk upstairs and make themselves at home around 1:30 a.m. Upon rolling over to instead find a sleeping stranger engaged in the party foul of the century, the victim called 911.
