Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

Due to a lack of additional funding from Congress, the FCC must start taking steps to wind down the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

After the ACP ends, you will no longer get the monthly internet discount or save on a device.

How is Lifeline different from the ACP?
Lifeline is the FCC’s permanent program to support affordable access to essential communications services such as broadband Internet access. The ACP is a new program designed to provide additional support to make broadband more affordable for certain low-income households. Your Lifeline and ACP benefits can be combined and applied to the same service plan or applied to different service plans. Lifeline subscribers can choose to take ACP benefits from another service provider.

It's the $25 monthly ACP benefit for internet service that is discontinued.

If you qualify for Lifeline, you can get a monthly benefit of:

Up to $9.25 off the cost of phone, internet, or bundled services
