OOPS: Bernie Has a Problem with  Lobbyists Unless They Happen to Be Superdelegates

OOPS: Bernie Has a Problem with  Lobbyists Unless They Happen to Be Superdelegates

By Peter Daou April 18, 2016

Bernie’s Wall Street attack against Hillary continues its slow motion implosion with a series of blatant contradictions on lobbyists, PACs and Wall Street.

It started with a NY Times article that exposed Bernie’s strong misgivings about attacking Hillary on paid speeches

SNIP
His language on lobbyists has been quite critical, so why the willingness to lobby for their support? Or will he only ask non-lobbyist superdelegates to switch? We haven’t heard him say anything about that.

Finally, on the Today Show this morning, after being pressed on whether he was doing Trump’s dirty work, Bernie’s message got tangled up in knots. He conceded that insinuating Hillary was corrupted by contributions was an indictment of the “entire U.S. government.

Is Bernie sounding more like the Koch purchased Teapartyist Sarah Palin of 2016, lately?
His campaign of "everyone is corrupt but me" has some familiar undertones lately.
Its just an uncomfortable observation.
Hmmm

Yes, it is alright if Sanders bows to influence from lobbyists but claims it is Hillary who is Thinkingabout Apr 2016 #1

He is no longer somebody who could push the Democratic party's platform to the left. His message has just become one of hate and vitriol.

He is obviously not a leader - he has let his most extreme followers set the tone and message. He is no longer a viable candidate on any front.
