Its hardly a stretch to imagine Sanders in the role of a cantankerous wizard from a remote desert island (Vermonts perpetually just one local election away from changing its state motto to No Solicitors), let alone one whose pie in the sky leadership strategies are the product of literal magical thinking. Nor can we rule out the possibility of outright witchcraft as a key component of the real life Sanders campaign if theres an explanation for his formidable war-chest of small, personal donations that doesnt involve mass hypnosis, wed like to hear it! While Prospero does emerge victorious, keep in mind his tale is ultimately considered a comedy. As such, Sanders may not prove to be the kind of candidate people are likely to take too seriously. But hey, wouldnt that bird on the podium be dynamite as Ariel?

Who donates 27 bucks?
Those who don't have the resources to funnel another multi-thousand dollar bribe...err "campaign contribution" through their super PAC (or to the Clinton Foundation) that's who.
