Hillary Clinton

It's almost over, folks.
I'm seeing more "Goodbye cruel world" posts in GDP. One poster tells us that he/she has 2/3 of the board on ignore and most threads trashed so clearly DU doesn't represent Democrats.
Anyway, I am excited because this means we are closing in on stage 5 and real healing can begin.
It is going to be Hillary in the White House and we will get her there together.
Hillary will still be unfairly disparaged by the right wing, by the media, and by the green tea party. She is strong, however, and will hold her head high.
Onward!

(60,335 posts)There is not quite as much Bernie, Bernie, Bernie in the V&M or the LBN groups.
Most have crawled back to the GDP and even that has seen some calm. Just a few that are still spitting fire over there.
And those that have left were never going to support Hillary no matter what and I think, some of those that remain are just posturing.
On to the General Election!!!!

(9,494 posts)They seem to be convincingly saying they never will. I just assumed they would leave the party or were never Democrats in the first place. I may be wrong.

(10,845 posts)We see the fringe here.
The Bernie host, Autumn, seems to be one who will change for instance.
My daughter, a 18 year old Bernie fan is another. She has said she would be an idiot not to vote for Hillary in the General.
I think many will

(9,494 posts)if not more. I am referencing his DU supporters. They have clearly said they will never vote for Hillary. I believe them.
Judging by the responses to Autumn's thread about unity, she appears to be an outlier.

(42,862 posts)... to leave posts that were CLEARLY personal attacks and violations of the TOS, and to remove posts that were OBVIOUSLY fair criticism of Bernie.
Rather than having the Jury System as being a peer-reviewed TOOL for holding members to community standards of conduct, it was being abused as a WEAPON to silence opposition. Their obvious majority (at this particular site) made the Jury System an irresistible and tempting "game" of sorts in an effort to stalk members and have them put on a "time-out" status for 90 days.
These days, the consequences of having 5 active "hides" isn't so severe. The "time-out" has been removed and members can still continue to post, but the hides do continue to reduce (or eliminate) their opportunities to actually serve as Jurors. (Thus diluting their influence and ability to participate in Juries. The 6:1 ratio is probably 8:1 or 9:1 as far as Jury eligibility is concerned. (Just a guess, but I imagine it's no longer a ratio that actually matches the population here.)
