... that's the headline I want to see. And I can't wait until it comes true. (I'm bad, I know ... sorry.)
POLL QUESTION: WHEN will we see this headline? Will Elizabeth Warren endorse Hillary BEFORE Bernie suspends his campaign, or AFTER he suspends his campaign?

(11,586 posts)They would be angry at first, but they worship her and she may be the only person besides Bernie himself that could tell them to give Hillary the benefit of the doubt.

(2,897 posts)The Sanders campaign is trying to use her words to paint Hillary as corrupt and I'm guessing that she doesn't like being used to drag down the presumptive democratic nominee. I also think she may be ignored by the busing she got over not endorsing Bernie before MA and now.
I hope she endorses tomorrow, just cause.

(1,359 posts)It could have made a difference, one way or another, months ago, but Warren misplayed her hand. Probably out of fear of the Bros.
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)but even at this late date, if she endorses quickly enough, it could help to put enough pressure on Bernie to go ahead and call it a day, and to suspend his campaign with grace and dignity.
If she waits until AFTER, then, at that point it loses its effectiveness.

livetohike
(22,145 posts)single issue opportunist who is waiting for a safe time to endorse someone. If she had the same convictions as Bernie, she should have endorsed him.
She is another one just in it for herself. Whoever looks like the winner, she will get behind in hopes of a VP slot.

(12,448 posts)It IS tricky for her, and she doesn't strike me as particularly politically courageous. No problem, most people aren't. But at this point her endorsement or non-endorsement mean very little.

(1,630 posts)and I'm convinced she will time her endorsement to create as much unity with Sander's supporters as possible. If she does it prematurely, they will feel "betrayed" by the establishment. If she waits too long, they will interpret it as the Party "forcing" her to do it. Much will depend on Bernie and the way he winds down his campaign so that there feels like a natural transition for Elizabeth to throw her support. I hope that comes sooner rather than later!

(9,688 posts)And I hope that she will continue to do do until the convention (or earlier, if - though I believe it unlikely- Bernie suspends his campaign before that).
