Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI have to admit I thought that I did not think it would get this ugly so soon here. HRC Room Post.
HILLARY CLINTON ROOM POST. SOP of the room is; Discuss the life, career, and accomplishments of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Supporters only. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=about&forum=1107
Done as a courtesy. This room is for supporters of HRC.
I had an idea that supporting Hillary Clinton was going to be hard here but I never thought this hard. I just don't get this. If you listen to some here she is as right as your average republican in the USA. Yesterday it was said that the Clintons were happy that we lost the senate even though both of them gave their hearts and time to the 2014 senate candidates.
Yesterday I saw it said that Clinton supporters are baiting non-Hillary supporters to break the SOP which is complete bullshit! Also it was said that some of us are third way paid shills. First off I am not third way nor am I getting paid to post.
I didn't think it would be this hardand it is starting to get to me. I guess I need to accept that this next year and a half will not be pleasant at times. Just venting to my fellow Hillary supporters. Please remember that this is the Hillary room and criticism is not appreciated or appropriate.

(3,580 posts)If she runs. I supported her in 08 and avoided participating in the dem bashing and hope to do it again.
It's still so early and she hasn't announced but it is likely she'll run. I hope she has challengers, I don't think she's inevitable but I hope she is the nominee. Like 08 there were several other dems I would have been quite happy to vote for including Obama but I think she can win in 16. I thought if she had been the nominee in 08 she would have beaten mccain.
I'm not mad at any other dems who are potential nominees, I'm interested to hear more from them. I'm going to stay positive and support Hillary.

(360 posts)a problem on DU. They are defiantly posting " Go ahead and ban me", then they get in their put downs. They flat out don't give a damn about respecting rules
Warren Stupidity
(48,181 posts)and bracket it with "Obey Da Rulez" it is just asking for trouble, it is an act of self fulfilling prophecy.

(71,265 posts)I know we don't get along but don't put words in my mouth. My point was it is hard being a Hillary supporter here.
Warren Stupidity
(48,181 posts)Is a negative statement about DU. The subject of your OP is DU, not HRC, and your stated opinion expressed in that sentence about DU is negative. My paraphrase of that as "DU sucks" was entirely accurate.
hrmjustin
(71,265 posts)While I am down on it I do not think it sucks.

(3,580 posts)Plenty of times someone responds to a post in latest threads and don't realize they are posting in a group. I've made that mistake and felt like an ass. To me in GD all bets are off but I don't mind a reminder if it's a group because I think the groups are a good idea. People can stir it up all they want in GD.

(71,265 posts)I hate to see people banned but some just don't respect the safe haven rules.
I know I have not been 100 percent innocent in the pwst but I learned my lesson.

(30,058 posts)She has remained a Democrat in her voting life, supported Democrat candidates. She has supported Democrat platform in her stand on the issues. I am not sure lots of the HRC non-supporters has read the history on the Clintons, they know what it is like to live on a lower salary, Bill was only getting something like $34,000 in salary as governor of Arkansas, they know what it is like to be on a lower salary, they lived most of their lives in the 99%. It was only after he left the presidency their net worth increased and was because of book sales and speeches. Most seems to be following Rush type falsehoods, don't have their facts straight.

There have been many stories where Warren openly supports Clinton for President.

(25,183 posts)We're less than two years away from the election, and nobody can possibly overcome Hillary's advantages in both the nomination process and the general election. Let the people who are going to eventually vote for her in November 2016 get it all out of their systems now as to why they don't want to.
The bright side of this is, we won't have a bruising primary fight that tears down our eventual nominee (the Rethugs would love that this time around, since there's no one whose 'turn' it is) and the money that would be spent during primary campaigns for the presidential race can be spent on getting progressive nominees on the fall ballot.
Hillary will work with whatever Congress the American people give her, it's up to us to make sure that they reflect as much of our values as possible. Spending time, money and emotion on a done deal is a waste, when there are other places to expend those things that will make a difference.
