Who wins when Poor People vote? The answer may surprise Bernie Sanders!

...On a pretaped interview with NBC's Meet the Press, Sanders was asked why in the 16 out of 17 states with the highest income inequality that have voted - income inequality being Bernie Sanders' defining campaign issue - Hillary Clinton has beaten the self-styled savior of the poor. Seemingly out of excuses, Sanders invented a novel idea: "well, because poor people don't vote," he said, implying that if poor people did vote, he'd be winning so good.

If exit polling data is any indication, the more poor people that vote, the more Bernie Sanders is actually likely to lose. I have decided to take all the states that have voted thus far in which exit polling data is available in the Democratic primary and chart them out. Here are the results (exit polling data from NBC News)....

1. I suspect Sanders and his team are having a contest to see who can disrespect the most core Democrat

constituencies before the end of the primary. And this behavior stems from and is encouraged by the candidate himself, otherwise his campaign wouldn't be doing it in the first place.

by usurping the youth and vote. He has dissed every core Democratic demographic except 18 to 25 year olds. He is setting it up so that anyone who votes "establishment" is stealing the Revolution's free education, free health care and $15/hr minimum.

Bernie may have decided he's going to be the pied piper that's going to lead the children way from the Democratic village, but statistics tell us they are the least reliable voters. Yes, we all wish they would show up consistently in droves but they don't and haven't - even this year.

Maybe he is playing the long game but that seems like a strange move for a guy in his mid seventies. OTOH no one said Bernie was a genius campaigner.

More Republicans voted ergo we have a Republican congress, not good for progressive ideas.

Poor people are voting for Hillary. That's why Bernie does better in caucuses, which make it harder for poor people who work three jobs to vote.

Bernie's supporters skew young, white, male, and wealthy. This should make anyone wonder about how genuine his message about income inequality is.

I guess I just don't understand. First, he was losing because black people were voting. Sorry, I mean "deep south" was voting. Now, he's losing because poor people aren't voting, according to him. Complicating matters even more, Bernie Sanders once said that black people and poor people were one and the same, as according to him, white people did not know what it was like to be poor.

Bernie Sanders appears intent on blaming anyone but himself for his campaign's sad state.
