So, of course Nance's thread was hidden, this being DU and all, but it is very truthful.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027778680

I think I'll rec it even though it was hidden.

This one too by Riversedge:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=1823129

My favorite part:
(Democratic Underground et al) will tone down their rhetoric and will call for reconciliation. But for those of us who have seen the damage these sites have done to the Democratic Party over the past eleven months, a simple "Sorry, my bad" will not suffice. These sites sold their soul in an effort to gain community members and raise their online revenue. They helped create a dangerous environment where the #BernieBros could flourish and attack community members simply for voicing an opinion different from their own. These sites posted links to pro-Hillary sites and articles and openly encouraged their members to disrupt those sites. These pro-Sanders sites even went to far as to become the kind of sites that would serve as a cesspool for the kind of members who would go on to create "hit lists" for both superdelegates as well as regular Twitter users who just happened to support Hillary Clinton.

donated a dime to the site. As non-star members they generate revenue, I guess because ads aren't blocked so they get displayed. Not sure how that revenue stream works. Does DU get a few cents each time an ad is displayed, or only when someone clicks on it? But come July after the convention, who will be here to support the site? Certainly not the "millenials". The fun is over, no more bashing, insulting and demeaning posts will be allowed so they'll move on to their next mind numbing activity.

No, who will be left will be the supporters off the Democratic Party and the true supporters of Democratic Underground. Those that know you change and improve from within, not by a frontal assault from outside interlopers.

That notion changes the objective ~

Is it the Democratic Underground or the democratically Underground.

What's the mission statement again?

A voice for all or a voice for the strength of the Party?

I went to both, read them both and recommended them both.

Both were outrageous hides, IMO. But they may also get even more visibility as Hides. I'm sure that's not what the rabid SBS alert-stalkers intended. But we will continue to stand tall together and support our group members.

If, after tomorrow's results, this B***S*** continues, I too will likely earn at least my second hide. I am thoroughly sick and disgusted by zealous non-Democrats with big mouths, authoritarian tendencies and overwhelming senses of privilege and entitlement riding roughshod on DU over those of us who have actually walked the walk all our lives.

in the world. They are always on the front line for justice, peace, and rights for all, including, inequality, regulation for gun laws and others, healthcare, and the 1st Amendment, et al.

Compromise is one of the key factors in possible solutions to keep the movement going forward without jeopardizing it's core purpose of keeping the world and her people safe, healthy, and prosperous.

I only mentioned a few things that as a progressive truly believe in.

And that's why I'm with her - HRC.

Hiding written free speech because some can do so does not bode well and in my opinion hurts their candidate. It shows the lack of tolerance.

The ugliness of the opposition has been very disappointing, especially when you see it from long term members whom at one point you respected and appreciated their opinions. But the profound idolatry of Bernie Sanders and the vitriol of his supporters is truly stunning.

I am somewhat appeased knowing that much of the worse crap is coming from RW trolls and paid operatives of the Karl Rove School of Denigrating Democrats. Clean up in aisle 5 can't come soon enough.
