Bernie needs the Democratic Party more than they need him (HRC Group)

In my opinion, he needs to earn back the Congressional Dems trust.

After everything he has said and done, and his campaign and surrogates have said and done, about the Democratic Party. Including calling them whores, suing them, saying they are election riggers, etc.

What is he going to do in the Senate, caucus with the GOP?

No.

Will GOP pols campaign for him and donate money to him, like both Clintons have?

No.

Will the GOP give him committee seats and chairs?

No.

So, as far as I'm concerned, HE is the one who has to make amends.

The tone deafness of his demanding anything from Hillary Clinton is just shocking to me.

I could see him making a bit of a deal with her behind the scenes, and promise a repeat of that glorious theater at the 2008 Convention, when HRC released her delegates to Obama, but no. Not with Weaver ranting on TV, and his surrogates like Dawson bringing up MONICA LEWINSKY. Carrying the GOP's water will do nothing but hurt Bernie.

Sander's Campaign has been hijacked by GOP / PAC people.... He just may not realize he had been scammed.

Except in instances where the surrogate says something at a rally with him, and he does nothing. Even McCain called out crowds who were nasty about Obama, and those weren't even his surrogates -- and, he told Palin to stfu about using her whistle stops as Klan rallies.

But, Tad and Weaver are just awful, especially Weaver.

So, some of the optics and statements from his campaign has been really strange to me. He knows better. It's akin to his wanting to primary Obama in 2012.

That incredibly, it's as though Bernie is naive about politics. He has no diplomatic skills. Nor does he have an understanding about the realities of politics. No matter how unfair or unjust the situation, when you are beaten, you must face reality. (Or will you bite off your nose to spite your face?)

His display of commander-in-chief of his campaign is not working well. Can he lead? Has not been shown.

and most apologized or clarified their statements. It would go a long way if Sanders surrogates did the same but that is not likely because they don't get how they are perceived. Self-righteousness does that to people.

People get excited and sometimes get carried away, but it's how you handle the aftermath that can really decide the long-term feelings.

No more party-switchers, unless it was at least one election cycle ago and they won their election as a Democrat.

No more 'independents' or Republicans voting in our primaries.

The hardest one will be no more caucuses.

I know the deal was made that the DNC would not run anyone against Bernie in Congress if he caucused with Dems. But it seems to me that he has violated the terms and conditions of that contract. No more, please!
