(86,647 posts)that the two town hall meetings, Chris Hayes did one with Bernie in his time slot, will be re-run after Lawrence O'Donnell. So in about 40 minutes you can see the whole thing.

(1,353 posts)Confident and focused... She does so well when answering the audience questions...
Onward to tomorrow!!

(11,588 posts)...and first acknowledges that she understands their question before she goes on to prove it by answering in detail, while still looking them in the eye. They were listened to, appreciated, and answered in a way that they can understand--no deflection back to talking points.

(1,630 posts)Listening to HRC do a phenomenal job in the town hall. This is truly a perfect venue for her to explain policy. I learn something new every time.

(86,647 posts)I am liking what I'm hearing. Been a kind of fan from waaaay back when.
She's concise, to the point and doesn't jump from starting to answer the question to stump memes within the first five words. She's on point and has planned out what needs to be done AND the path to achieve the goals that can actually take place.
I like that she is including the importance of down-ballot races and leeting people know that voting once every 4 years isn't going to cut it.

(12,448 posts)First, Rachel asked her something about what she'd do if she'd "be ahead" She said "Rachel, I AM AHEAD! So let's start that conversation from there!"
She was clearly angry at the gun lobby and said it needs to be a "voting issue." We should vote out of Congress anyone who kowtows to the NRA, and VOTE in off-year elections.
She spoke extensively about women's issues, labor, and of course the economy. "Women's issues are family issues;" when women are shortchanged in pay, her entire family suffers.
When asked about Sanders' insistence that his urging supporters to support her if she wins the nomination, she pointed out that she made no demands on Obama when she conceded; in fact she worked for and with him and spent a lot of time getting her supporters to switch to him.
She was strong, detailed, and succinct. Quite a contrast to the previous hour with Bernie's Town Hall.

(55 posts)"Senator Sanders is down but not out in the polling..." (He is out, actually, but whatevs)
"...but the polls today show him closing in on Secretary Clinton..." (You must be referring to those magical BernieBros polls)
"...Secretary Clinton is in the lead, but this thing is by no means sewn up." (Yeah. Keep telling yourself that)
Rachel irritates the hell out of me, but I'll put up with her if it means watching our future POTUS deliver yet another stunning performance! GO HILLARY!

(86,647 posts)must have been maxed out, I've never seen it so jarred and breaking up, but that's what happens when bandwidth gets overloaded. I think there were a lot of international viewers too.
That Sanders supporter had a good question and I think she answered well. I don't think it's in her DNA to not be prepared for any and all questions and confrontations.
And for anyone wanting to watch later, I think you can catch it through Maddowblog or the not so wonderful MSNBC website. Being a presidential town hall it should be widely available to the GP.

(55 posts)What is up with that introduction MSNBC? Biased much?
HRC: "Victory is in sight"
Dramatic voice-over: HILLARY CLINTON HAS THE MOMENTUM.
HRC: "This campaign is the only one, Democrat or Republican, to have won more than 10 million votes"
Dramatic voice-over: AND SHE'S THE GOP'S #1 TARGET.
Trump: "Crooked Hillary will not have a chance"
Cruz: "If I'm the nominee, we beat Hillary Clinton"
Kasich: "I beat Hillary consistently in every single national poll"
Dramatic voice-over: NOW, WITH FIVE STATES IN PLAY, CAN SANDERS PICK UP GROUND?
Sanders: "We beat Donald Trump by wider numbers than she does"
Dramatic voice-over: OR WILL TUESDAY BE THE TURNING POINT THAT PROPELS HER TO THE NOMINATION? (Insinuation: thus heralding the downfall of society?)
I know that we all know that MSNBC is pro-Sanders, but FFS. That intro was pathetic. I love that Hillary went on to smack the proverbial ball out of the stadium. SUCK IT, MSNBC.
