(14,487 posts)I am still not sure what the reason for these deletions are, but it does seem that a bunch of groups and pages went down at the same time, while others have been changed back from secret to public. This doesnt reek of a Hillary Clinton troll brigade, but it does show that there is some sort of coordination between admins of various Bernie groups to take them offline, perhaps to rile up their followers.

(7,480 posts)I mean, for the love of God, if she was that powerful, why wouldn't she instead take down the anti-Hillary pages too? Some of the BS supporters are absolutely bonkers in trying to create an excuse for the Senator losing.

(481 posts)They make up these conspiracies so they can feel that the election was stolen from them once they lose. They realize people are seeing through his BS ideas.

(1,729 posts)Just ask Bernie.
If Facebook removed a group for credible threats of violence, then there almost certainly were credible threats of violence. Was it Bernie supporters calling for violent revolution (with guns they never would have wanted to take up before they became pro-gun in their zeal for the Bern)? Was it Hillary trolls posting threats of violence to derail the group? I don't know because I wasn't there, but what I do know is that whatever it was, the admins of the group should have shut that crap down before anything like that was able to be alerted on.

(4,640 posts)stir shit. It's EASY for an admin to make a group closed, then secret, and then back to public again. Takes just a click.

(4,035 posts)Taking a leaf out of the Atwater/Rove playbook and, when your own candidate has used $16 mill (as of February) on digital messaging, go all apeshit when your opponent puts down $1 mill to counter the digital bullying those sixteen million dollars bought your candidate.

(4,542 posts)The dumbasses. I saw they were mentioning page shuttering because of "threats of violence and...." Hell i have helped pages go 'poof' because of violence, explicit sex, animal cruelty etc. if I knew I could get paid for doing it I would have signed up as a HRC troll. LOL
Then again, maybe I am....

(31,828 posts)Someone got into a spat in GDP this weekend with a HRC supporter. They accused the HRC supporter of being a paid shill. I got called to the jury. I then looked at the profile of the person accused - here since 2001.
I then responded to the thread. I got alerted on - probably by the person we shall call "the accuser" for accusing the person they accused of being a paid shill. I did not get a hide and I shouldn't have.
Stay with me - I'm not being meta here. So I responded again with:
I wasn't calling them out
I was pointing out - if what "The Accuser" is saying is true - then that's one hell of a long game on HRC's part. It doesn't make sense that "The Accused" would be a "paid shill" for the Clinton campaign since 2001. We weren't even internet focused for her Senate run- which I was happy to knock on doors, make calls, and get people registered for in 2000. She was hip deep in the Senate in 2001 and probably didn't even know this site existed.
Thanks for posting the results though.
It would be one hell of a long game if alllllll of these HRC supporters on the web have been "sleepers" for 15/16 years. They know it doesn't make sense - but still they proceed.
