Huerta.

Rosario Dawson, how dare you lecture Dolores Huerta?

When legendary farm labor, feminist, and voting rights activist Dolores Huerta published an op-ed saying she didn’t know enough about Sanders to vote for him, citing his inconsistent record on immigration and his lack of presence in the United Farm Workers struggle (that’s the labor union she co-founded with the late Cesar Chavez), the person who spoke up on Sanders’ behalf was an actress who once played Huerta in a poorly received biopic of Chavez. Rosario Dawson, a 36-year-old from New York City whose Latino ancestors hail from Puerto Rico, a US territory, and Cuba, the beneficiary of an open-door US immigration policy these last 57 years, wrote an op-ed in the Huffington Post lecturing Huerta.

“I am surprised, dismayed, and concerned that you would do your legacy such a disservice by becoming an instrument of the establishment, rather than joining this movement to create a better America like you once inspired us to do,” Dawson said.

It's dawson who's the poor little tool. Delores Huerta will go down in History as the Worker's Rights Icon that she is.. and rosario will be on the junk pile of history for ignorantly trying to portray her as #soestablishment

Forget that Huerta not only cofounded the UFW but has dedicated six decades to fighting on the front lines of the workers’ rights movement. She’s been arrested 22 times while demonstrating for the cause and was even hospitalized in 1988 – as a grandmother – with two broken ribs and a ruptured spleen while protesting President George HW Bush’s opposition to the UFW grape boycott. Forget all of it. Dawson has declared Huerta’s legacy destroyed on Bernie’s behalf.

In case there was any doubt as to whether Sanders approved of her message, Dawson was subsequently picked to introduce him at speaking events in San Diego and Los Angeles, where she told crowds to be wary of the media. She spoke of how she been registering Latino voters for 11 years through Voto Latino. Good for her. Dolores Huerta has been doing it for 56, since back when that kind of thing could get you lynched.

Sanders' Panderers are just digging their "Movement" a bigger hole to be buried in when Bernie's campaign finally dies a well deserved death.

not just against Hillary but against the Democratic Party
in general.
And he's been braying for months about how corrupt it all is.

I hope when this is all wrapped up that whatever federal pork
is going to Vermont gets sent somehwere else.

Make the state of Vermont feel a little bit pain while at the same time
finding a young talented progressive to run against Bernie.

Get some PAC money and start bashing his ass now.

Bernie is as bad as any Republican.
Trashy smears and no plans of his own just a bunch of slogans
whatever respect I had for him is gone.

He bitches about politics as usual and then runs a politics as usual smear campaign.

Screw Bernie. I hope his failure sticks to his ass like velcro.

I'm from Texas and have recently been wondering
how Bernie would have fared pulling this shit
against LBJ.

LBJ could be a nasty piece of work if you pissed him off and a bare knuckles political fight
didn't bother him at all.

The Clintons are just as politically talented as LBJ was.
I think right now Hillary doesn't need to be vindictive
but when she's president and we retake the senate
I hope they make him pay for type of campaign he's run.

I won't be surprised if he wins a squeaker in RI as it's an open primary
but he's going to get steamrolled in MD and PA and he'll lose CT DE altho they may be closer
than the 2 big states.

After today it's a statistical inpossibility for him to win
so staying in just disrupt and make it easier for the GOP makes
me think all his high minded crap is just crap.

I'm sure when they re-evaluate after today someone will remind Bernie that the Democrats will in charge of the committee assignments soon.

Thank you for telling Sanders exactly what everyone is thinking. He has become a disgrace and has ruined an already mediocre legacy with a gutter campaign and attacks on the very Party that gave him any relevance at all.

Time to go home, Bernie. Your 15 minutes are up!

to give to the Sanders followers to get their vote. Rachel gave the example of Wall Street. Hillary essentially said, "Nothing. I'm winning by a large margin, he doesn't have a plan and has shown he didn't even understand the issues, and I have a detailed plan to get the problem at its source."

It was a great answer. I think she should stick to that. "What will you give as concessions to Sanders?" "Nothing."

He has no clue about what to do as was evidenced by his pathetic NYDN interview. Which he characterized as an interrogation because he had no idea what to say. It was his Sarah Palin moment.

If he had an actual plan, it would be something Hillary could embrace. As it is, it is grasping at sweeping promises. As Hillary said, she has a better plan.

It will be interesting to watch Sanders from this point on. He has earned a slew of Pinocchios (enough to fill a curio cabinet) and is damaging any chance to return to the Senate with respect from his colleagues there (many are super-delegates for HC already).
