I think it sucks, but as they say, shouldn't we fight fire with fire? Clinton supporters are virtually shouted down whenever they deign to say something positive about our candidate. Just imagine what it's going to be like in January?

Thankfully this site isn't read by the rank and file votes in the country, but a group that is predominantly Democrats. And among them (and us) their shouting down of the Clinton message is doing the Sanders campaign more harm and good.

Lies are probably best refuted as OP's anyway for greater exposure. I've noticed that inaccurate and outright lies on the headings are taken as gospel, and even when corrected the the body of the thread are lost.

My point is that they post tripe in the Bernie Sanders Group and then "rec" the snot out of them in order to get them on the "Trending Now" or "Greatest Threads" lists on the home page. They can post "Bernie Burped" and then get 50 "recs" and it'll appear on the Trending Now list!

I think that would be a good counter. It will hit the trending, capture people who are not in the group, and have specific posts trend to the top of the discussion page for more visibility.

but on the other hand it annoys me to no end that you can barely find any information on DU anymore because of all the cheerleading posts. I'd rather just skip reading through all the nonsense and head for the Hillary group.
