Reid says Sanders doesn't have path to nomination

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/04/harry-reid-bernie-sanders-democrats-222459

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday that Bernie Sanders does not have a path to the Democratic nomination, though he refrained from calling on the Vermont senator to quit the presidential primary.

Reid, who supports Clinton, said that Sanders will have to find his own way after Tuesday night, with Clinton likely to extend her delegate lead.

"Bernie is a good person, he's a run a campaign that I think we can all recognize has been unique and powerful. And I think Bernie should do what he wants to do," Reid said.

Still, when asked if Sanders can win the nomination, Reid said bluntly: "No. I do not."

"Bernie is going to do what he feels is appropriate. And I have confidence that Bernie, his No. 1 issue is not him, it's the country," Reid said.

Reid has chided Sanders in recent weeks for running a more negative campaign than he intended to — but he waited until after the Nevada caucus before endorsing Clinton to help increase voter registration among Democrats that support Sanders and Clinton.

I believe he is correct! What is Jane going to say on MSNBC now??? Will they remind her of their own polling information??? Will she finally just stop lying about a path to victory???

I think the more hard tone Hillary...and her supporters are...the more a guy like sanders digs in...best to avoid Bernie...start focusing on conservatives.... the destruction they bring....let Bernie be the guy in the back jumping for attention...

After tonight, Bernie needs to wrap it up. If Bernie's No. 1 issue IS the country, then he needs to start the unification of the party.

I don't believe he will drop out of the race at this point, but he can still start doing things that will unify the party for Hillary's campaign in the general election.
