http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/rhode-islandWhat you're waiting for is Providence to report - look at how small the numbers are before panicking...
I don't have a call - I think it will be close with either taking it - so they will get the same number of delegates and Clinton getting all of the super delegates.
Largest cities and the most urban are Providence, Cranston and Warwick - those three cities are about 50% of the state's population - most of the state lives on the water side.
University of Rhode Island is in the southern part of the state.

(3,231 posts)It is and it isn't. Most of RI is registered as independents. Only 10% of Rhode Islanders are registered Republican, 30% are registered democrats and the rest independents with most actually being democrats. You declare the day of the primary which one you are and you choose which one to vote in. You are then affiliated with that party until you fill out paperwork to be independent again.
So sort of an open primary.
But very good point - the rest are closed - which is why RI is the only one he's even got a chance in.

(3,231 posts)In my opinion - the three most urban cities have not reported. They also have half the population in the state. They also are the only non lily-white cities.
It's likely he will win, but they are calling it too early -
