Jane Sanders predicts epic Bernie comebackBy NICK GASS 04/28/16 08:12 AM EDT
Bernie Sanders may be down, but he is certainly not out of the race, Jane Sanders said Thursday, predicting that her husband would win a slew of victories going forward into May and beyond that will keep him competitive leading up to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
The comments come a day after the Sanders campaign began laying off hundreds of campaign workers in states that voted Tuesday rather than having them stay on for future contests. Sanders' campaign dismissed the notion that the layoffs represent a posture of weakness, with campaign spokesman Michael Briggs telling POLITICO on Wednesday that it comes "from a posture of reality."

(1,735 posts)and her career. Wikipedia had a discussion about her tenure as Pres. Of Burlington College. In part it reads:
"The college offers students study abroad options within Europe, and in 2008, Burlington College became one of the very few universities in the United States to offer a study abroad program in Havana, Cuba in conjunction with the University of Havana."
While I personally think that's a really cool thing, I'm so afraid that because the Sanders' haven't been vetted properly, the Republicans will hammer this fact as proof they are communists or something. His chance of winning will plummet and our hopes for a continuation of a Democrat in the White House will collapse. There is much about them we don't know.

(50,557 posts)In 2012, Mitt's people were telling him "you're doing great, everyone loves you, you'll be president!" and keeping him away from anything (like the news or the polls) that said different. They did this to keep him from getting despondent and doing something stupid. It looks like Bernie is being kept in the same kind of cocoon - he may not even know the campaign laid off all his workers.
