Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumWow! With every interview Jane Sanders just looks less and less credible. She looked squirmy
and sounded off-script just now on "With All Due Respect" (MSNBC).
Ranting on about "why haven't they asked Republicans about their speech transcripts?" or some such nonsense. Almost incomprehensible.
Defies belief that they're still sending this amateur, ill-prepared fabricator out to front for the Bern's fading campaign.

Plus, she can field the tax/hypocrisy questions - she is the Sanders' tax accountant!

Totally out of her depth. In over her silly head.

(16,104 posts)she's just as competent as Bernie!
Maybe she has new material? Bernie doesn't do well with new material.
Surya Gayatri
(15,445 posts)her press avails any more than the Bern did for the NYDN interview.

(2,012 posts)I watch all interviews with candidates on all cable and I think she's done a great job. She's smart and always spot on with policy discussions and very knowledgeable about Bernie's views and progressive concerns that we would all agree with. We have been fortunate to have Michelle Obama and would be just as fortunate to have Jane Sanders in the White House.

(4,835 posts)Not everyone is capable of dealing with national attention. Sometimes people get thrust into the limelight without proper prep.
Palin is the best example of this, but it sounds like Jane is unfortunate in the same manner.

(30,058 posts)She is running out to the cameras, Bernie is tired and he is still getting pushed, talk about the lack of compassion. Just stop the excuses, three million votes more than Sanders is not just a few independents which are not registered as Democrats, after all these are Democratic primaries. He just is not getting the votes. He started with the OWE group, picked up some young people and his agenda did not have drawing power.

Poor Weaver, tough break.
But like Cruz's VP pick, Jane too is now out playing that "Woman Card" they mock Hillary for.
Jane & Carly..funny they just now realize the value of the female vote.

Hillary 2016
Womens rights are human rights and human rights are womens rights. (from the groundbreaking speech she gave in Beijing in 1995).
This is a woman who smashed through one political glass ceiling after another, while being a champion for womens empowerment, entrepreneurship, and investment in womens economic potential.
In 2001, Hillary Clinton became the only American first lady to hold national office when she was elected to the U.S. Senate.
She became the 67th U.S. Secretary of State in 2009, serving until 2013.
During that time, she brought the message of equality, justice, and opportunity for women and girls to a global stage, giving it worldwide attention."
