The Sanders’ have partially released their 2014 tax return and on the return, Jane Sanders is still drawing a salary as an alternate commissioner for the Texas Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Commission. (TLLRWD Commissioner)
This is the commission that oversaw the Sierra Blanca dump site, that Sanders voted for and also voted to strip out the Wellstone amendment in conference.
The Wellstone amendment would have given legal recourse to this mostly poor Latino community to fight the placement of this waste dump, if they could prove environmental racism. The compact was passed, with vigorous help from Sanders. Later and fortunately the dump was scuttled by the state of Texas.
This is just for 2014. Mrs. Sanders could have been drawing a salary for years and unless they release more tax returns we'll never know for sure.

Sanders campaign strategist Tad Devine and his then 2004 presidential candidate, Senator John Kerry, thought this was a big deal in 2003 and they attacked Howard Dean’s Sierra Blanca connection then. Sound familiar?
The late Senator Paul Wellstone, John Kerry and Sanders campaign strategist Tad Devine all believed that Sierra Blanca was wrong, then why are the Sanders’ still involved and profiting from nuclear waste dump sites that are more likely to be located in or around poor communities like Sierra Blanca?

Mr. Sanders campaign for President is built around this grand premise of giving power back to the people. A political revolution by the people. When he had the opportunity to give power back to the poor Latino community of Sierra Blanca, he voted against the Wellstone amendments that would have given this community the real power they needed to fight back against environmental racism.

The original Waste Dump issue was scuttled since it was an election year & GW Bush needed the Latino vote.
Immediately after Bush had won his term, the Bill was again presented for approval by BERNIE SANDERS.
The original Dump Site was quietly moved by the Corporate Investor in Texas, to another location a few miles from the first "scuttled" site.
Bernie Sanders did all he could do for GW Bush & his profiteers, to pave the way for Radioactive Waste Dumping, and with wife Jane on the Board, collecting her $4000 per yr salary, it was a win win deal.
Except for the poorest Latino community in the country.
And here we find out, Jane Sanders is still profiting from her & Bernie's dirty, filthy, environmental racisim.
Bernie & Jane are more in line with the GOP dirty deals than the Real Great Progressive, Senator Paul Wellstone.
There is Nothing Progressive about Bernie nor Jane Sanders .
DeVine & Co have simply run the Sanders campaign by making a "silk purse out of a sows ear".
Its a total scam & a fraud on the American people and a pity some still only see the cool shiny thing.
PAUL WELLSTONE could have taught Bernie Sanders a lot about being a true Progressive. But Bernie Sanders & his wife Jane were always clearly in it for themselves.

And I wonder how much money Jane made last year in her role as senior adviser, or whatever she is called, for Bernie's campaign? Also I did not see any number for their investments in the "dividend" box of their tax return, yet I read a post showing that they do have money invested some kind of funds if I remember right. There is a lot of things they don't seem to want the public to see. 
Sanders' alleged honesty and transparency were the result of a great PR scheme.
Bernie and Jane are hiding lots of things. Tax returns do matter.

Recalling the beginning of the campaign, when Sanders claimed himself as a real progressive & admonish Clinton, who more like Wellstone, always fought hard for minorities & underprivledged.
Sanders stump speech claim of "moving Hillary more progressive" was a flat out lie.
Sanders was never a True Progressive. And after his Senate stunt in voting against Wellstone's ammendment to protect Sierra Blanca from Bernie & Jane's push to dump VT's Lethal Waste, Bernie Sanders is a hypocrite & a liar in his claim of being a Progressive.
Bernie Sanders isn't even close to the Progressive Values of the Great Paul Wellstone.
He did GWBush's bidding on the Senate against Wellstone & its a damn blasphemy that Sanders now proclaims himself some great progressive, while his wife still profits from that dirty deal made against Wellstone in the Senate.
His campaign is nothing but a PR Stunt as a favor to the same RW that he voted for, and against Paul Wellstone. The True Progressive in every word he spoke & every Human Rights deed he spent his career fighting for.
