Opinion of my own. BS' campaign kept the person(s) who was responsible for that horrid tactic.

Campaign contributions are way down, and Sanders cannot afford as many TV ads now. Certainly he can't afford big salaries, and he has enough FEC violation material to rival the page numbers of War and Peace.
He hasn't released more than one year of taxes, either, citing a busy schedule.
Yet he wants to point to Hillary and insinuate she is the corrupt one. He has been running a smoke and mirrors campaign all along. He can't properly explain any of his proposals, but we are finding that even if he raised everyone's taxes (payroll taxes included) a bunch to fund his platform--he would add double digit debt to the deficit within 10 years with no way to offset it except to mightily raise taxes on working people and Gawd-knows what else.
He has burned all credibility.
