Franken tells TV network: 'I'm ready for Hillary' to be president

Sen. Al Franken has told MSNBC that he’s enthused about the prospect of Hillary Clinton becoming president, a comment which the network reported as being an endorsement of her potential candidacy.

“Hillary would make a great president,” the Minnesota senator said, according to a Twitter message Tuesday morning from Ari Melber, an anchor for the left-of-center national cable television network, who interviewed Franken. “I’m ready for Hillary.”

In a follow-up tweet, Melber said Franken spoke highly of Massachusetts’ Elizabeth Warren, a fellow Democratic senator.

“Sen Warren great, but she’s not running” for president in 2016, Melber quotes Franken as saying.

Seems like the left- including some progressives- is lining up to support Hillary. I'm good with this- especially since she's still ahead in the polls of everyone on the GOP circus train considering throwing in their hats including Jeb and Mitt. Not thrilled however, at the thought of a Clinton / Bush battle but well aware that this is a very good probability.
