fault allow him to run in the democratic primaries if he proves to be the angry old socialist hellbent on destroy america and the democratic party....we know many of his supports share more in common with the anarchists and ultra leftwingers who would enjoy to see america go down.....

if trump wins the election, there will be many responsible for it...including sanders and some of his followers but they wouldn't care either way...

Bernie has shown an ugly, vindictive side that has really disappointed me. I'm very happy that Hillary is leading by such an insurmountable margin.

3. We are going to win, with or without that vindictive jerk's support.

His interview with the New York Daily News is more than enough evidence that he doesn't know what he is doing, or how the government operates. In fact, just reading the transcripts of that interview shows how ignorant he is. He doesn't even seem to understand what the separation of powers are.

There is no doubt in my mind that this man is as dangerous as trump

If I never see him in the news again, it will be too soon.

... campaign to smear Bernie. It's not because he's a better person, for sure. It's because Hillary attracts supporters who know how to work in a democracy.

Ignore the hysteria of Sanders supporters.

But, to play in what if land....IF trump wins then Bernie would see the end of his political career and wind up alone and pathetic like Ralph Nader.

he gets nothing when he crawls back to the Senate....just like Cruz. I hear rumblings of an election challenge coming.

He wrote a glowing review of Kasich. Wonder if he was really a Republican the whole time.
Oh well.

Sorry to say it. He dismantled all good he did with the seatbelt deal when he ran as an independent against Gore.

And we STILL have people on this board who defend him!

Maybe he just wanted Bush's tax cuts.

7. Lashing out, is what he's doing now. No semblance of the "issues-based campaign" left at all.

And I agree, I do put the responsibility on them to help defeat Trump. This isn't a kids game or high school student council, there are real stakes for millions of people going on.

This is a big test for Sanders supporters; whether they are genuinely progressive or whether they just say they are because it's popular currently. The cynic in me suspects their movement is nothing but a trend, to be replaced by something new in a few months. The optimist in me hopes otherwise.

8. I disagree. Clinton is a professional politician and is responsible for her own campaign.

IMO, it diminishes her to say she isn't fully responsible for it's ultimate success or failure.

The Sanders supporters who won't voter for her are a very small number.

She's got to win the normal Democratic states plus a few more swing states.

Clinton and her team can do the math and know where to position assets.

They just going to to need a phalanx of lawyers everywhere to help fight REAL voter fraud and voter suppression.

11. I was concerned also

I was very concerned until a conversation with my son on Friday night. We normally stay away from politics but this time the West Point graduate attending the Captains Career course he mentioned how he and everyone of his classmate are voting for Hillary. He has always had a negative opinion fostered by the Republican character assignation that started before he was even born; but, he and even the most conservative of class mates realized the lack of character and ability that is Donald Trump.

Of course this doesn't stop me from screaming at the Sunday morning shows with their wall to wall Bernie coverage (think of the scene in the movie "The Great Santini" when Robert Duvall was reading the morning paper on the porch). My point is the first inaccuracy is calling him a "Democratic Candidate for President" when he has no chance of winning the nomination. He true title should be Angry Old Man Gadfly

it will be because the "Bernie or Bust" fanatics make good on their threats to stay home, or even vote for Trump. But I agree with you that Sanders will be the individual tagged with giving us President Trump, and Ralph Nader will look saintly by comparison!

Can we just blame them equally? They kind of act the same.
