One reason there's a gap between Sanders v. Trump and Clinton v. Trump in the same polls asking the same people is that the Sanders fans are voting Trump once Bernie isn't available.

Once he drops out and endorses Hillary, we can look at the polls as representing something of slightly more value. At the moment, they're meaningless.
