2008 article indictes Clinton's liberalism

http://www.wsj.com/news/articles/SB122230767702474045

In this article and in a speech which I can no longer find, Hillary Clinton suggests that we bring back the "Home Owners Loan Corporation" a successful New Deal policy that was able to keep people in their homes after their ability to pay a conventional mortgage because of the great depression.

While we can only speculate what a modern HOLC would have looked like, it is likely that it would have been at least as successful as HAMP.

And if it was closely modeled after the New Deal original arguably more successful.

The reason I mention this is because Clinton's advocacy for a New Deal solution to the housing crisis is arguably more liberal than what Barak Obama finally implemented.

I'm not saying that Clinton is a great liberal. It is that the centrist policies she would advocate are ones that would be "effectively" liberal in comparison to what we now consider centrist.

They post over and over, don't even try to point many of them in the right direction, apparently Karl Rove has hired them to trash Hillary.

on the 'wayback machine.'

It's why they had to register people with real names instead of the anonymous ones most sites preferred then. Then they had to start banning people.

The admins were pretty hands on then, AFAIK. But they went with mods for a while and it was still exhausting and exasperating for them to try to handle all the conflicts between members, in DU2, for example.

But the 'mods' who no longer exist, did keep DU Democratic Party friendly, while allowing a less stilted and manipulated milieu than we are confronted with here. I haven't been here much longer than you, but read an awful lot since I came here. I ditched my other networking sites because I preferred DU's atmosphere, but this is actually worse than where I left now.

We've been infested by CC and other sites that feed upon our posts here. There are a lot of them posting, along with even more Libertarians, Paulites, etc. They were actually encouraged by them to come here, and in their own words, 'cause dissent.'

Hillary has been a target since before Clinton was elected and the HRC Hate Machine has never stopped. I bet some of the 'Hillary Hates Obama' clubs on the net are fostered by Kovian or Segretti followers, or more likely Koch Brothers operatives.

It's a wicked world, politics. That being said, HRC is not my first choice. But she's lightyears ahead of the faux liberals that Libertarians claim to be.

One really must go back to the philosphies that those being supported for a few views, are pushing overall. And they're pretty dirty, more than HRC can be honestly said to be.
