OK, so she sometimes makes mistakes! So what!

One of the things that keeps me on Hillary’s side is her sense for complexity. Her unwillingness to see the world in black and white. So what if, under the artificial pressure of a debate, she said “anytime anywhere” and something about being “transparent.” Then later realized that real life required different choices. Why in the world would we hold someone to such a standard of perfection? If we did, we’d just get a fake image of a candidate.

So I’m absolutely fine with Hillary, slip ups and all. Give me someone who’s smart and has a capacity to deal with complexity. It’s a scary thought that we might get someone who can’t in the white house.

Enough with trying to defend every tiny thing she says or does. She's human! A great human!! Go, Hillary!!

vs. just talking about doing things and never following through. People make mistakes. I love that she's not afraid to put herself out there. She's more concerned with actually getting things done than doing the wrong thing and being publicly criticized.

use her as a prop to continue his Bernie Bingo* talking points.

*Someone posted a Bernie Bingo graphic and it was hilarious. Wish I could find it here again.

So, it's not really a debate. He has no issues to discuss, he just wants to smear her.

Here's the Bernie Bingo. Kudos to the poster who found this. It's hilarious.

6. I'm reminded of her AIDS blunder back in March...

... when she stupidly credited the Reagans for bringing awareness to HIV/AIDS. Anyway, after the fallout, she issued an apology, but also took the time to discuss the history of HIV/AIDS and its current condition. I thought that was classy, that she could not only admit a mistake and take full responsibility, but that she made it a learning experience.

When a Republican makes a mistake, they insist on being right instead of admitting a fault. Take for instance, in 2011, when Sarah Palin got her facts wrong concerning Paul Revere's ride, during a stump speech. Instead of saying "Yeah, I was wrong," when it was pointed out, she continued to stick to her warped interpretation of the event. Even her fans got in on the act and went to Wikipedia and changed Paul Revere's ride to match Palin's version. So bizarre.

Anyway, I can't imagine Sanders or Trump being as humble as Hillary. They've certainly haven't shown themselves to be this primary season.
