Sanders wants Malloy out--doing the NRA's work? (Original Post) MirrorAshes May 2016 OP
Of course. What reason would he have to get the most anti-gun Governor in the US out? George II May 2016 #1

As for Frank, what's his beef, except that Frank is gay and Sanders has done zip for gay rights in his career in Congress?

“Bernie Sanders has been in Congress for 25 years with little to show for it.”

INTERVIEWER: So it seems like you’re saying Bernie’s voters have a slightly unrealistic sense about the political process. And that this is driven—

FRANK: I didn’t say slightly.

“You have people, I believe, who do not understand how hard it is to make change. [It is] the importance of not just being idealistic, but being sensibly pragmatic and keeping their ideals. Sanders is getting their support.”

“If you look at what Bernie Sanders is saying, he’s far more critical of Barack Obama objectively than Hillary Clinton,” he said. "The healthcare bill — that’s President Obama. His view on the inadequacy of financial reform is President Obama.”

I wish more politicians would actually tell the truth about Sanders instead of giving him a free pass for everything. If he had the kitchen sink thrown at him like Hillary has, he wouldn't get a third of the vote.

To attack him -- and Barney Frank for that matter -- as unable to do their jobs chairing the Rules and Platform committees (which is what a credentials challenge is as I understand it) is beyond the pale.

This is insane. And revolting.

His Karma can't come soon enough.

Can you imagine, Barney's reaction?! LOL & Gov Malloy's?!

....huge budget deficits and the mess that the previous republican governors left him after more than 20 years in office.

He's been tough on the government workers and their unions, but even they respect him for the most part because they realize what he's had to be done.

His stance on guns has made a lot of people around the country dislike him, but they don't live here. And he also was successful in championing the abolition of the death penalty, which was given its final "death blow" by the Connecticut Supreme Court.

White privilege covers progressives too. And since the Democratic Party is now clearly under the control of the diverse coalition of women and minorities that elected Obama twice, some white progressives can't handle it.

Honestly though I'm just kind of ashamed I bought into this. Glad it's against federal regs for me to have sent money.
