HILLARY CLINTON GROUPEmulating the annual Yankees / Red Sox pennant races, Hillary Clinton surges up in Iowa in the latest Suffolk University poll, while Bernie Sanders is taking a page out of the Boston Red Sox August swoon (and I'm a Red Sox fan!)
After languishing with a mid-20s lead (24, 27, 27, and 19%) since early July, Clinton has opened up a 34% lead.
The RealClearPolitics Average margin is now up to 26.8%

I love Sanders too but I wish/hope we all stand behind Hillary when she gets the Dem nomination

(145,559 posts)In Iowa, the ground game is critical and the Clinton campaign has built a great ground operation

(14,093 posts)That's a downward trend
No poll, from survey to survey, shows her on the rise.

(25 posts)I'm not going to put these into a spreadsheet and crunch for moving average or some other way of doing trends. It's too early.
More to the point for long-term analysis are such as this LA Times piece on the legal underpinnings of the email system and her staff's handling of Top Secret information.
If her staff did cut-and-paste TS info into "private" emails, none of these polls will matter in the least. Even a couple dozen such actions will roll out as a disaster. With or without indictments.

(67,782 posts)....that certain Groups (like this, Bernie Sanders, etc.) are forums for supporters of the specific candidate or issue.
Please don't criticize Clinton here, that can be done in "General Discussion - Primaries"
