I live in a very red state that also happens to be predominately Methodist and have gotten many people (particularly women) to take a second look at Hillary by talking to them about John Wesley's motto being the guiding force in her life every since she joined the church at age 12. jftr - I am agnostic but ethnic Methodist so can do the social gospel thingie.

There are lots of stubbornly stupid and mean people in the repub base.

Just as they heard President Obama comfort with Amazing Grace and insist he's Muslim, they'll take a look at her faith and conclude she's satanic.
