What a landslide victory would look like

Worth reading. Nate Silver explains why the assumptions the polls plus formula makes may be flawed this season, and what the consequences of this may be (they are good). It also shows how far democrats have cut into even the reddest of states, that almost everything is technically on the table this season.

These analyses ease anxiety, but kee-riste how'd someone like Trump get so close?

Hillary Clinton is such an exceptional woman, she should cleanly stomp any average repub. Then along comes this deviant Trump. It's hard to see that yahoo having any slim chance at all. No offense to yahoos.
