...that many of us no longer post much anymore. This is DEMOCRATIC Underground....and sadly it's jumped the shark. I'll spend the majority of my internet time elsewhere for too many reasons to list....and if I did list them I would be alerted on and hidden.

I'd like to see the same response if someone posted an anti-Bernie cartoon or screed from a right winger.

Things will really get back to democratic politics around here after that I bet.

That remains an open question for me, but plastering over the areas where he's weak with a litany of rightwing sideswipes does not engage more voters or push him to do better. To win the nomination, any candidate must continually strive to improve their campaign and address perceived shortcomings, not ignore them or retaliate against straightforward criticisms. As long as Sanders is allowed to stay safe within his comfort zone, he's losing potential voters. As long as Sanders followers focus on defending the status quo by dropping these Republican talking points instead of advocating a broader, more comprehensive response from their chosen candidate, they are only enabling him to lose even more potential voters.

I am so puzzled about all the anti-Hillary craziness on a DEMOCRATIC discussion site. I would like us to look at our side as an embarrassment of riches. We have candidates discussing issues, not racist, homophobic, xenophobic, ignorant morons spewing lies and vitriol daily.

And yet there is all this hatred. When 2016 rolls around, EVERY Democrat needs to bust butt to make sure the Dems get the White House, the Senate, and the House. We don't need a John Kasich or Marco Rubio or Jeb! appointing three SCOTUS justices.

We have an amazing qualified and SMART candidate in Hillary who will make an awesome president. Instead of turning on each other, we need to focus on issues and getting ready to take on the dark money-funded Rethuglicans.

I think it used to be. Have things been changed?

Bernie will never win the nomination.
