Hillary Clinton Room Post
She made clear the Secret Service guarded the server and there were no breaches.
I trust her judgement.

(55,147 posts)They will just find something else to foam at the mouth about.
Just think of all the money they are spending on paper towels!

(360 posts)Loved it when she mentioned at the beginning during her statement regarding the Republican Senators letter to Iran. THAT is what the news media should be focusing on right now.

(70,264 posts)I might as well have listened to fax. damn. Most host comments related to privileged status. One standard for the Clinton's and another standard for the rest. Bunch of crap.
BTW I thought she did very well. (even though I heard on msnbc how she struggled to respond).

(12,754 posts)There are two types of organizations -- those who have been breached and those who still think they haven't been breached. Once "interested parties" realized that she was running her servers out of her spare bedroom, it was open season. Any intruder with half a brain could have been in and out of those servers in a heartbeat -- without leaving a trace.

(12,754 posts)Believing that you haven't been breached is a fantasy. For heaven's sake, the Pentagon has been breached. And we've seen that the Secret Service is less than competent in a lot of areas. Why would they suddenly shine in computer security? Even IT industry security experts are overwhelmed with the frequency and undetectability of attacks.
Internet security frightens the crap out of people who are experts in the field. Nothing is secure. Even the State Dept. is vulnerable, but I'm guessing it's better protected that Hillary's house.
For her to just blankly say there were no breaches is a fantasy -- on her part and on the part of people who blindly believe her. She doesn't know that. Maybe someone told her that, but there is no way she can know it. Someone could have slipped a key logger into her system and, unless the Secret Service knows exactly what they're looking for, it's quite possible that every keystroke she makes is being transmitted somewhere outside the country.

I understand your point but this is not the room to do this.

Wow, the news media people who made a big deal out of this have egg all over their faces. They are going to be furious at Clinton for them making fools of themselves. Why did they fall for this nonsense?
Wow, way to go Hillary!
