Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumA glorious thread in Fark describing the behavior of Sander's supporters
Note: Not mine, but in Fark's discussion group, there are the same sort of petulant children like you see all over the DU. Like everywhere on the net it seems, too many Sanderistas pretend their childishness are all highbrow policy disagreements, when it's really just trying to be annoying as possible, and user "amiable" pegged them to a T:
"If Hillary wins, it just means the US will not have a good president. That's all it means."
"If I'm FORCED to vote for her pandering ass"
"She will still be a trickle-down corporate/banking sell-out. She'll simply be a pro-choice, anti-gun corporate/banking sell-out."
Those don't sound like honest policy disagreements they are not couched as policy, platform or record disagreements. It would be like me saying: "Bernie Sanders would still be a communist ass-clown" and then claiming that type of talk represented me having a "legitimate policy disagreement" with him. I'm sorry but I just don't see any Hillary supporters saying those kind of things about Bernie Sanders.
We get, this is going to be you guys if Clinton wins the nomination:

(11,014 posts)They don't want to pay any attention to the biggest elephant in the room
S-O-C-I-A-L-I-S-T who will tax people at 90% according to his own words.
They think that it will have no effect on the electorate -- in fact, more people will vote for him because he is a socialist!

(28,270 posts)I was lowballin the numbers no doubt.
Not a word from Bernie how all this money is going to be raised.
Walk away
(9,494 posts)I tried to explain to a few of them that, in my state, a police officer and a tenured teacher make about $200,000 a year. The cost of living is very high here and, if you have kids in college and a mortgage you are just making a living. You are already paying $60,000 or more a year in Federal tax.
This group of Berniacs think those folk need to cough up some more bucks because.....the Middle Class isn't getting screwed enough!
They seem to hate anyone who makes more money than they do. Apparently, it's bad to pay your way and everybody else's.

(28,270 posts)never talk about paying for his fantastic world.
It's way easier to be a big sugar daddy and promise people the world for nothing instead of telling them their taxes are going to skyrocket to pay for it all lol
Walk away
(9,494 posts)Their tax dollars are basically paying the bulk of the taxes that run this country. They are not going to vote for a Socialist. They DID vote for President Obama and they will vote for Hillary. But if a moderate republican ran against Bernie....they would switch parties at the drop of a hat. It would be financial suicide for them to vote to elect him.
As I said to one Sanders Supporter, these are the Millennial's parents who are paying for college and supporting them.

(6,537 posts)The President is not a king......even Bernie. And Congress is not subservient to the Executive branch. Just because Bernie wants it, Congress does not have to pass it. As we have seen over the last two Democratic presidential terms. But somehow Bernie supporters think that if he is elected, partisanship will disappear and all of Bernie's agenda will be enacted while we all sing Kumbaya. It is a naive pipe dream and Bernie folks simply will not wake up and smell the coffee. They are making the same mistake that all those people made who voted for the right wing nut jobs in the 2014 midterms.......they figured if they could just capture the Senate and House, their entire agenda would be passed, giving no thought at all to any other branch of government. So much like Bernie's supporters.

(30,058 posts)then maybe your candidate has not got a record which can match Hillary. Name calling is admitting defeat.
