(30,745 posts)VAN is tough to use. I think the problem may be the large number of people using it and updating it constantly.
I don't know the answer to fixing VAN. But it sure is better than compiling your own lists, election after election. We used to do it that way.
Every campaign wants to have up to the minute data and at times they don't have the capacity to have everyone on at once?

(1,968 posts)Hillary's data was walking through a really bad part of the firewall that evening, and was wearing a security skirt that was far too short and way too tight.
It deserved to be wrestled into the alleyway, have its permissions changed, and be copied for forty minutes. Really, I blame the data.
