Hillary Clinton vs Elizabeth Warren and a Rant!

I am going to post this in the Hillary Clinton Group because I am going to rant a bit here. First of all, I will begin by saying that I know Hillary is not perfect. I also know that I will not agree with her on every issue. But I do believe Hillary is the best Democrat for the job of POTUS and I know that I don't have to list all the reasons here. Now for the rant. If Elizabeth Warren decides to join the primary and should she win that primary I will vote for her in the general election because I am a Democrat. But, there is no way in fucking hell that I would ever believe anything she says. My great grandmother is listed on the Dawes Roll. My grandmother is (RIP) a full blood Native American. Because granny chose to marry a white man, my wonderful blessed mother (RIP, Mom) was called a "half-breed" most of her young life. Because she was a "half-breed", she dropped out of school in the 8th grade because she could no longer take the emotional and sometimes physical abuse. She was a straight A student too and deserved an education. My mother's young life was horrible as a young Indian girl and she by god should have been able to finish school and go to Harvard. Elizabeth Warren has no idea in hell what it is like to be an NDN woman yet based on some bullshit folklore she passed herself off as Native American and took a spot at Harvard leaving some other young Indian woman who actually deserved that spot out in the cold. As far as I am concerned, Elizabeth Warren is a liar and a thief and if some Republican Senator had lied their way into a Harvard minority spot, we at DU would be all over it. So, no, Liz, you will never get my trust. The only thing you will ever get from me is my vote. And Hillary, while she isn't perfect, she has never lied about being an Indian woman. Lying about being an NDN is probably not important to Warren supporters, but it damn sure is to those of us who have lived the life of an Indian. Rant over!
