Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forum3 weeks. Bernie supporters made it 3 weeks.
All along, all they wanted was for their candidate to be taken seriously, for him to be noticed and for him to be perceived as a "threat" to politics as usual.
Well, after New Year, thanks to some favorable polling, the media and the Hillary machine finally took notice of the Vermont senator, and, boy, the supporters have not dealt well with it. At all.
Every statement is now a conspiracy, every group is untrustworthy, every thinker who criticizes is undeserving of respect. It is, honestly, something I have never seen before.
But it is a tiny, tiny taste of what the GE would be like. And an even tinier slice of what Hillary had gone through for decades.
Sometimes, maybe not being noticed is the thing you should wish for, because, wow, they're not dealing well with Sanders being the center of attention.

(42,862 posts)It's easy for me to imagine how surprised many of Bernie's fans would be when they discover that in the real world, there is no "alert button" that can be used on the well-funded GOP attack-machine. No alerts, no friendly juries to agree, no "hidden" commercials and editorials and books.

(28,270 posts)All they do is cry 24/7 on this site where Bernie is treated with kid gloves.
The republicans would savage poor little Bernie and no packed juries would save the poor fellow.

(25,111 posts)and still survives. The onslaught will be tremendous (if) the primaries continue on the Dem side against both by our lovely media.
But alas, it will be over by March 1 and HRC will continue to the GE.

(30,058 posts)Of Sanders to breach the data of Hillary. I would have thought the primary process would have been researched and then the conspiracy theories would not have been started because we know the process.

(30,755 posts)room disrespecting Obama in ways that I have seen only from right-wingers. It is about his "bright, shiny things" remark.
They way Bernie and his supporters have treated Obama is the biggest turnoff to me.
If Hillary's campaign had been the ones guilty of a data breach, we would still be hearing about it. There would be post after post, even if it was resolved. So what happened to that? Hmmm?

This is their one chance every 4 years when they can come and raise hell, disrespect Democrats and progressive institutions like Planned Parenthood and normally good and sane DUer's applaud them for their insights. All the while driving a wedge between the 2 camps.
