Late yesterday afternoon, I introduced the #WeWontBeErased hashtag on Twitter, inspired by Joan Walshs forceful and eloquent endorsement of Hillary Clinton. Within hours, it was one of the top trends in US politics and it continues to be highly active today.

(297,290 posts)I have always liked Joan even on the rare occasion that I didn't fully agree with her. Nice to have a grownup in the house.

(297,290 posts)I think it's terrific she's supporting Hillary so wholeheartedly and without reservation. Hillary has earned it.
She's gotten even stronger now with her years as President Obama's SOS.. invaluable experience!
Thank you, Durham, for the great links chronicling Hillary's amazing record of service and the importance of "love and kindness".
I love this blast from the past.. throwback Thursday..

(32,610 posts)I read the full text of her response but now I can't find it.
This John Wesley quote, that she has referred to often over her years of service, explains her so well.
Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.

But that's alright, unlike some other candidates,
she's been there before, and she's still standing....like she said!

(30,058 posts)who are endorsing Hillary. Joan's article is very good, there was not any reason to smear a person for stating their preference in a candidate or to have family members hired by Hillary. In a nation of free speech the need for some to thwart this freedom goes too far.

(15,438 posts)can disagree on how she's defending her daughter from vicious attacks from Bernie supporters. NO ONE.
When has a pack of Hillary Clinton supporters descended on Bernie endorsers? His wife? Himself? As far as I know - never. Yet these people have no qualms viciously attacking anyone who won't conform to "the Bern". WTH? Are these people Liberals? Progressives? If so, they're poor examples of and shouldn't be coddled but condemned for their Teabaggerish actions.

(71,265 posts)This is one reason I don't like or trust him.
BlueCaliDem
(15,438 posts)supporters going Teabagger on people and groups endorsing Hillary Clinton is silently condoning their negative actions - or - he has to be incredibly clueless that this is all happening. That right there should preclude him from ever being president or coming near the White House - unless to visit.
With this antagonistic and backstabbing Republican Congress, we can't afford a clueless President who won't know when a group of Republicans are creeping up behind him.

(30,745 posts)He knows. He can brag about not needing PACs, because his nasty supporters serve the same purpose.
The more I see of Bernie, his supporters, and his sloppy, dishonest campaign, the less I like.

(15,438 posts)then I dislike the man thoroughly. It's going to be very, very hard for me to cast my vote for him should he win the nomination. Very hard. But I will because he's still a million times better than any Republican running at the moment. But man! His supporters and the man himself isn't making it easy for me.

(1,968 posts)It's not a popular statement, but I now dislike him thoroughly for campaign dishonesty, no ability to reign in his followers in very large measure, and incredibly poor plans foisted on the public.
I suppose, if I must, I can certainly drag myself to the polls in November...but Bernie's not going to make that easy. I'm currently more comfortable with going, not voting for President at all, but pulling D on all the other races.
Fortunately, I strongly doubt it'll be an issue. Bernie is not going to get the nomination.
