Hillary Supporters: How many Democrats do you hate as much as some at DU hate Hillary?

I can't think of a single Democrat that I had such angst for, such as the angst they have for her.

In the real world, I know some liberals that have reservations about her, but none with such fire-breathing animosity. None that wouldn't vote for her in the end.

I remember the strife in 2008 between Obama and Hillary people here and in the real world. Did not affect me, because I was happy with either of them. There is no Obama to support such strife for Hillary this time.

So the strife is... undirected? Can't find the word... Anyway, the strife is more... 'if they are for it, I'm against it.'

Of course the troll and sockpuppet accounts are saying 'me too,' with glee.

They are going to be really disappointed in a few months.

Is there a Hillary Hate Syndrome, like Obama derangement syndrome?

Sure seems like it sometimes.

Elizabeth Warren can't win even if she ran. She has already burned that bridge because no matter how you slice it, you need, Wall Street, Large Corporations and Banks to donate money for a win. Bernie Sanders can't win because he is an avowed socialist and no socialist will ever win the presidency in this country, not even running as a Democrat. O'Malley doesn't have the name recognition and isn't likely to get the nomination. This is what is pissing off the lefties enough to hate Hillary.

but the level of truly mean spirited scrutiny directed toward HRC is never earned or deserved. Too many comments about looks and personality traits that are not directed so much toward men.

Trump's ridiculous hair excepted, of course.

I took your comment as meaning a candidate earning or deserving scrutiny by virtue of candidacy. But there have been plenty of nasty remarks.
Hope this clears up my comment and sorry if you took it as directed against you. My sloppy wording.

Perhaps you should consider deleting your posts & not starting a debate about Hillary's earning the vitriole we read about in GD.

Just suggesting you be considerate to those who support her in the Hillary Clinton Room.

My hide's are proof of that. Pointing out the hate get's hidden and the hate left standing.

Need more be said? Unfortunately because of this I will not be posting as I normally do which is a loss for DU.

This will actually be a first primary season on DU3 with juries and it's going to be a crap shoot on which side get's to sit on the jury.

P.S. the last presidential election on DU3 was with President Obama so we did not have a primary.

25. You have been scolded not to use the word hate....

Apr 2015

Of course that is what it looks like to me. I suggest we use the word loathe.
These people loathe her. Most seem to be jumping on some sort of bandwagon.
There are trolls to of course. Being on MIRT quite a few are no longer here.

What bothers me too is when her supporters are called stupid, or uninformed.
In some ways I think it's the other way around. For example saying that Hillary is
taking on Warren's ideas about equal pay for equal work or minimum wage.
Hillary was fighting for equal pay when Warren was still a Republican.

Martin O'Malley's record is thin. He has no votes on foreign policy that can be scrutinized.
I bet anything that when asked, he will be pretty much mainstream Democratic in his answers.
In fact his domestic policy is pretty much the same as Hillary's.

Oh, that brings me to another thought. When Hillary mentions national security, some act like that
is bad, or a nothing problem. That is the height of naivete. That is what a President does.
Anyway, there seems to be this idea floating around that there are no threats to the US.
There is an isolationist strain or is it Libertarian? I don't know but there are are "America haters"
as Skinner calls it in the TOS for DU. Sometimes it seems that no matter what is done, the US is wrong.

The loathing goes so far as to pull out every right-wing talking point and posting it.

One last thought. When Hillary talks like a politician, or hedges.... that's because she IS a politician.
There is nothing wrong with that. Bernie Sanders has the luxury of being about to rant on tv about whatever subject
he wants. He is in a safe seat in a very liberal state.

So, I assume the Hillary haters are trolls. That said, I do not categorize those who offer constructive criticism...

Ya know, I disliked Obama in the 2008 Primaries but did not go hatemonger on him. I accepted the outcome when the deal was done.

Perhaps one of those areas is whatever area it is that Hillary riles
people up in. I'm generally at a loss as to why people are so
opposed to her, would someone mind giving a quick outline of
the primary reasons she so hated? Are these the same people
who beat on Obama as well? Really, apparently I've been out
of the loop on this, but I feel like I'm lost.
