Has anybody ever added up the cost of all Bernie's tax increases PUT TOGETHER?

The GOP will slaughter us in Nov. if our overriding answer to every problem is:RAISE TAXES on everybody.

But that's what Bernie's proposing. Not only small, selective, increases. And not just hefty increases on the wealthy. At least small increases on everybody, even lower income.

He wants to raise taxes to pay for:

Single-payer health care
Family and medical leave
Social Security
Free college for everyone, even Trumps' kids

And this doesn't include taxes on businesses.

Has anyone added up the cost of all these tax increases put together? If we haven't, the Repubs certainly will.

There are good, valid reasons for tax increases. I strongly support, for example, lifting the social security cap. But I don't think taxing EVERYONE so that anyone who wants to -- no matter how wealthy -- can get free college will be supported by most taxpayers. Especially when added to all the other tax increases Bernie's pushing.

But the blind faithful pay little attention to this. Can you imagine how the GOP would crush him on this in the general election?

You KNOW the Heritage Foundation, Grover Norquist's people, and the Koch-suckers have done the numbers already. They're not releasing them because they see Bernie as FAR easier to beat than Hillary.

Honestly.

It's the attacking of the progress that we've made that bothers me. The ACA is progress, and Sanders and his supporters attack it. That doesn't help anyone, other than the GOP.

And I haven't seen him add up what all the increases would amount to, and it's guaranteed that the other side will.

Go to the 33 second mark. He says "We will raise taxes, yes, we will."

That's the commercial, right there.

?t=31

This shit KILLS him--play this over and over again in a 30 second commercial and he couldn't get elected dog catcher.

People do not like taxes, even when they tell each other publicly that they'd pay them and make noises about the common good. They're begrudging about the entire process. They tolerate them. They most certainly do not want MORE of them.

Their parents do, but they are voting for Hillary.

A Bernie supporters called me, a life long active Democrat, a Libertarian because I pay taxes and paid for my college education and expect others to do the same.
