So I notice scuttle talk by some that if Hillary wins the nomination, Sander's supporters may not be

Be there for her in the general election

those that won't vote for the Democratic nominee in the general election if Hillary is the nominee are not progressive or Democrats

But most important, if Hillary wins the nomination, those that won't vote for her in the general election won't matter, If Hillary is the nominee, she will win the GE regardless of those prophets of doom

... exist in FAR FEWER NUMBERS than do here. I don't even worry with them any more. Anyone who says or suggests such a thing is promptly added to my ignore list. I can't be bothered with them... not gonna argue with them... not gonna read their tripe either.

What they want is to be validated. They're looking for attention and they want to feel as if they have control (ie: "not gonna vote&quot over a situation they have NO CONTROL over (ie: Hillary winning the nomination).

Ignore them ... they'll cry themselves to sleep, eventually.

Basically, they don't like anyone who is either too recent or too well known
to be "mythologized." They like symbols and icons, apparently.

This is why nobody takes your Party seriously. 30% membership rate and dropping.

- My party? WTF are you talking about?!?

You are a democrat, yes?

- Oh, so the Democratic party is not your party? So why are you on Democratic Underground?

I'm here mostly for LBN. You may notice that I've been here a minute.

This poster's rec history is full of pro-Bernie and anti-Hillary threads. And this is someone with almost 30, 000 posts. Well, at least he's more open about it than other Sanders supporters.

like the one described..."almost 30,000 posts" shows a very fervent poster, and on a forum for democrats. Flagging them would go a long way to visiting democrats to help identify the type of poster at a glance. Why waste time with them?
Already most HC supporters have left the "out there" part of DU to the invaders.

It doesn't seem conceivable that any living, breathing human being who falls on the left side of the political spectrum would do anything that could even potentially lead to the election of one of those lunatics on the GOP stage last night.

Some try and justify it with a "things need to get worse before they get better" attitude, but nobody is so ignorant that they can't see how bad things really would be.

Historically, the youngest voters vote in the smallest percentages. You can't build a campaign relying on them because even though they may be excited about you, you can't completely count on them.

If you're in a position that you need them to win then your base of support is not diverse enough.
