(1,968 posts)She probably saved her texts for each speech (I would), but the request to release them is unprecedented.

(50,562 posts)And if there aren't transcripts for every word that came out of her mouth since she was born, she's obviously hiding something.
The utter desperation of the Sanders campaign is overwhelming. If she DOES release all the transcripts, they'll want something else. And more. And more. Nothing will ever satisfy them. They have gone to full-bore Far Right Wing Clinton Attack Mode.
It's a good thing Sanders will never make the general election because I'm starting to question my ability to vote for him if he is our candidate.

(1,968 posts)It's possible the speeches were transcribed, but... And for those that were recorded, it could be done now.
But why should she? Next they'll want her birth certificate.

(50,562 posts)If anyone here can't see they're just trying to run another Whitewater attack against her, they haven't been Democrats very long.

(82,383 posts)the next step was to declare it a forgery. Which is exactly what would be said of the speech transcripts.

(2,074 posts)It is obvious that they only want the transcripts so that they can pore over every word and then twist it to suit their continuing smear campaign against Hillary.

(2,074 posts)Indeed. You've nailed it. I have not thought of it like that before.
This really is a witch hunt. And like in the classical witch hunts, guilt or innocence do not matter. Tie a stone around her neck, and if she drifts on the water, it proves she's a witch and worthy to be burned, and if she drowns, it proves her innocence. There's no winning in this game.
