Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumThere is a Nevada poll out from the Washington Free beacon which
has Hillary and Sanders tied in Nevada. Whether the poll is accurate or not remains to be seen, but I wouldn't relay on anything coming from that right wing rag.
The Free Beacon's founder is a Republican who worked as an aide to Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) presidential campaign and for the conservative Weekly Standard.
In the next few days we should have a better picture of the Nevada landscape, but not from garbage like the Washington Free beacon

(10,406 posts)As far as I am concerned it has no validity. More accurate figures show Clinton @ 20 percentage points ahead.

(5,714 posts)They didn't conduct any Republican polling just Democratic (supposedly) and guess who is gaining ground on hillary. Bernie ties her with 45%. They also sell anti Hilary merchandise.
They sure would like to influence this race so their candidate can run against Bernie.

How stands the city on this winter night? More prosperous, more secure, and happier than it was eight years ago. But more than that: After 200 years, two centuries, she still stands strong and true on the granite ridge, and her glow has held steady no matter what storm. And shes still a beacon, still a magnet for all who must have freedom, for all the pilgrims from all the lost places who are hurtling through the darkness, toward home.
Ronald Reagan, Farewell Address, January 11, 1989
The Washington Free Beacon is a privately owned, for-profit online newspaper that began publication on February 7, 2012. Dedicated to uncovering the stories that the powers that be hope will never see the light of day, the Free Beacon produces in-depth investigative reporting on a wide range of issues, including public policy, government affairs, international security, and media. Whether its exposing cronyism, finding out just who is shaping our domestic and foreign policy and why, or highlighting the threats to American security and peace in a dangerous world, the Free Beacon is committed to serving the public interest by reporting news and information that is not being fully covered by other news organizations.
The Beacons chairman is Michael Goldfarb. Its editor in chief is Matthew Continetti. Sonny Bunch is the executive editor. Bill Gertz is senior editor.

(10,830 posts)Because free milkshakes for life and pony rides do not a revolution make. It hardly takes an imaginary leap to know that Sanders would be eviscerated by the GOP. The GOP is praying to their shriveled gods as I speak that Fortune will shine upon the Republican Party and offer up the current cult figure of Bernie Sanders and his Magic Light Show.
I have it on good authority that the Washington Free Beacon is a rag of considerable notoriety. And yes, anything to deflect from the brilliant debate performance Hillary Clinton recently delivered.
The way is forward, not down in the cesspool. For myself, I'm keeping my attention on Hillary Clinton's words:
"I am not a one issue candidate and this is not a one issue country."
Despite what others would have us believe.
Btw, we should remind the Saint Bernard Brigade that true revolutions are bloody nightmares, not changelings of sweetness and light.

Did you see some of the questions in the TargetPoint "poll"? One asked respondents about the prospect of the "FBI indicting Clinton" - when did the FBI get power to indicted anyone? That "I" in their acronym stands for "Investigation", not "Idictment".
Its a phony poll conducted by a right wing organization designed to skew the aggregate results.
It was released only yesterday, I'm sure once Nate Silver looks at it he will drop it from his calculations.

(15,438 posts)wonder if all they care about is "Anyone But Clinton" rather than supporting Bernie for "the issues". I'm becoming convinced it's all about ABC, and they don't care if they take down the Democratic Party and everything President Obama has worked so hard for and gotten gray over in their quest to keep that woman out of the White House. Because, you know, even getting a Republican in the White House is infinitely better than getting a true Democrat in there.
