Hillary is right. Bernie trashed Obama's policies routinely to me and other reporters, especially in 2011-2013 period.

(53,035 posts)When the sole criteria is talk rather than accomplishing anything.
What has Bernie accomplished in any of those areas? Is there one piece of legislation he has enacted? One reform he has implemented?
Call me crazy, bit I actually leaders who bring about seeing improvements in people's lives rather than the ones who spend their time denigrating the accomplishments of those who do work for change.
And then to announce that race and gender equality are better served by keeping govt in the hands of a white man like himself. I can't help feel this relates to the complaints from some of his supporters about the awful racism and sexism endured by white men. After all, Sanders did announce that voting for a woman candidate for governor in the 80s was "sexist."
He clearly has no conception how insulting and reactionary those kinds of comments are.

This is the same mistake his followers make, assuming the two issues are tied at the hip, they are not.
Now, he would make everyone's life better including minorities if he were able to achieve his goals; and I not only believe that I know it from looking around at other countries who can do what we refuse to do.
If his campaign doesnt learn how to separate these issues properly, it will cost them

Is that next on Saint Bernard's rundown of superiority??? I mean if you can get people to believe conservatives will flock to Bernie Sanders in November, then you're talking some serious magic, even major pull with the Big Guy.
The claims are getting so ridiculous that they're laughable. Better on race relations than Barack Obama? Guess that's why John Lewis is supporting Hillary Clinton.
Better than Hillary on women's issues? She's only a woman after all, but think NARAL and PPP endorsements. Oh, that's right, they're establishment.
But the payoff is to diminish the likes of the late Ted Kennedy on human rights.
Who is next in the superiority stampede?
Humility might be something Senator Sanders could seriously consider. With his supporters? That I'm afraid is a lost cause.
