(135,425 posts)My dad and I used to watch our local Saturday afternoon bad horror movie host--I was, oh, seven or eight.
He always used to ask, "Are you scared? Because it's OK to go upstairs if you're scared."
The reason he'd ask that is because he had his feet up on the couch and was clutching the pillow to his chest (for fear the giant ants would rip something out of it, I'm sure). Me? I was fine and still love those movies to this day.
One of our fave movies as kids...along with The Blob!
and leaps, and slides and glides across the floor...
The bowling alley scene has to be my favorite.
a little spot research indicates that the bowling alley scene was the 1972 version.
Well, the diner scene was good too.

We'll need to revise this sometime Saturday evening, of course, to three wins. Then it starts to run up on Super Tuesday...

... if Hillary is so good at fixing elections (as is alleged), why did she lose in 2008? A course in Logic might be of assistance to BS supporters.

(50,560 posts)According to the BSers, Hillary Clinton can steal an election with one hand tied behind her back...which, if you take it to its logical conclusion, SHOULD mean the first-term senator from Illinois she ran against last time should have vaporized under the Magical Aura of Hillary. But as we all know, the first-term senator escaped her aura and became a two-term president.

I thought about that "No shite Sherlock" might get alerted on .. but, I thought wth.. I'm sick of holding back because of the lurkers.
Mahalo! "pure stalking" is right.. just scouring our group hoping to get a hide.
This is what I wrote in a jury comment yesterday..
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: NO, it's not OTT.. Lay off the damn Alert button just because you disagree with a Hillary supporter.
I'm getting tired of this corrupt system where the majority are BSrs and if they don't like something they run to the jury to censor, and if they get enough hides that person has to leave.. Too much whining going on.. they shouldn't be allowed to alert on Nothing.
That's not democratic.. it's tyranny.
thank you!
