Unions Say a Majority of Their Members Support Hillary Clinton

“Secretary Clinton has proven herself as the fighter and champion working people and their families need in the White House,” says the statement, which was embraced by several large unions, including the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, the American Federation of Teachers, and the Service Employees International Union. “That is why, of all unions endorsing a candidate in the Democratic primary, the vast majority of the membership in these unions has endorsed her.”
The statement is partly a reaction to the aftermath of the announcement by the A.F.L.-C.I.O., a federation of unions, that it would not vote during its executive council meeting this week on whether to endorse a candidate in the Democratic presidential primaries, essentially postponing an endorsement until the primaries are no longer competitive.

some meat on those fantastical bones he keeps tossing out. A noun, a verb, and Wall St billionaires is not a policy position. That kind of crap has worked on the politically immature up to this point, but grown folk need much more sustenance. 
We may have quarrels with some policies in the Democratic Party, but no one wants to see the wholesale liquidation of union labor, and the rise of racism and other oppression.
There is always ultra-left dogmatism around what unions do, but actually the unions are in a progressive upswing. Unity is a good thing. 
I agree with your points too. Peering under the hood hasn't brought forth much more detail, lol.
So many programs wouldn't survive without funds like that. In addition to supporting the Huerta Foundation project noted in the CT threads, the CF has also partnered with the AFL-CIO in a green jobs initiative for the nation's infrastructure. I guess jobs are bad now. 
And, no amount of BS is going to change that.
