It would seem to be wise to try to reduce the damage a bit in SC since a highly favorable result for Clinton will award her a disproportionate number of delegates.
But perhaps the voter calculus shows that there's simply no way to stem to the bleeding in South Carolina.
I do hope Clinton spends some time in MA. Symbolically, a close win to close loss there would be a major feather in her hat--Sanders would have failed to capture a significant Northeastern state.
