Here's what we do: First, we take it on the chin.

We admit that Bernie pulled a good one in Michigan, and that the polls were just plain wrong for reasons that will certainly be determined in the coming weeks and months.

Second, we remind ourselves that, although this hasn't happened since 1984, it could happen again because frankly, there's nothing about this election that isn't fucked up in a very scary way.

Third, we spend every moment between now and March 15 making calls, canvassing, doing whatever we can to get out the vote in March 15 states. This is so incredibly important. We cannot take any state for granted from here on out. I've been guilty myself of luring people into complacency, and I have to examine what I could be doing differently.

With brings me to, fourth and finally, we stay the HELL out of GDP. Nothing good can come of it, and I don't know about you guys, but I've got all the camaraderie I need right here (and in other such oases).

That's what we do. Are you with me?

...and if someone comes in to kick old, outdated threads, just SOP report the guy and trash the thread. No big deal unless you make it one.

I am sooo with you!

Like Hillary, we take nothing for granted. Every vote counts. Our hearts are heavy because the race in Michigan was closer than predicted. Of course,we want everyone to see what we see when we look at President Obama and Hillary Clinton: the best leaders! But though momentarily deterred, this is all the more reason to redouble our efforts. I do not for one moment take any votes for granted and this serves as a reminder how much I truly cherish every single one. Each feels like another piece of hope in the foundation of our future. Having Hillary win will be all the sweeter for the challenges we have encountered and overcome.

At the moment, GD and GD-P are trash to me. The Hillary Clinton group is where it's at. And where I'm at.

Fun fact: Bernie ended up +5 over target from MI (The Green Papers estimate). Hillary is currently +3 over target (with 7 delegates left to be apportioned) in MI (I can't find the estimate).

Bernie ended up +2 over target for the night (if Hillary doesn't get EVEN ONE of the remaining MS delegates)...which means he only needs another fifty nights like this one to start being competitive!

started organizing.

I don't want to get into what I'm doing because it's none of the BS trolls' business.

But I'm not fucking around anymore. Obama '08 and I know how it is done.

There were a lot of rumors of some Clinton supporters thinking it was over and voting in the Republican primary.

I'm wondering if we had some voters stay home today that could have swung it.

We ARE going to win. The math doesn't get better for Sanders.

In fact, this possibility is exactly why people say it's over. Take Mississippi out, because that's the last state we are going to win by 60%, but he is going to gain 10 delegates in Michigan. The math isn't there.

So the big thing is Ohio, from a perception standpoint. If we can win that, then it erases the sting of this loss. If we lose it, we are still winning the nomination, but the narrative of "can't win in the rust belt" is going to follow us all the way to the convention.

I think this loss might actually help in Ohio if it motivates our people.

I think all of Hillary's vote is pro Hillary. I would say that 10 percent of Bernie's Michigan vote tonight is anti-Hillary crossover. votes that Bernie would not get in the general.
