Democratic Party officials say they heard reports of 'large numbers of complaints' in AZ...

Voters are experiencing long lines at the polls because of fewer polling sites this year and a surge in independent voters turning up at the polls and wanting to cast provisional ballots. You have to be registered with one of the three parties for your vote to count. But federal law requires you still be given a ballot.

Here's the latest news from Arizona's Presidential Preference Election:

3:50 p.m.: Democratic party urging voters to not get frustrated by long lines

Arizona Democratic Party officials are urging voters to stay in line and cast their ballots after party officials said they heard reports of "large numbers of complaints" from polling places.

Executive Director Sheila Healy encouraged voters, in a statement Tuesday, to fill out provisional ballots if they encounter problems in their registration. Healy said the party will be compiling stories for a complaint to election officials.

These Independents trying to cast ballots when they should understand that this is a closed primary and should have changed registration well before.

Didn't their candidate just one day up and declare himself a Democrat?

Let's not forget that important fact when it comes to passing voting laws in the state.

....hacking the DNC database, posing as union workers to crash private areas of hotels, celebrities harassing caucus goers, unauthorized use of union and organization logos to fake endorsements, etc.

So much for running a clean campaign.

The funny thing about this is that its going to backfire. The Clinton campaign was so organized they got many of their potential voters to vote in advance. So while Sanders voters are standing in line with droves of independent voters and their provisional ballots, Clinton voters are home drinking wine waiting for the returns.

Oooops!

once again one candidate does a shitty job of the ground game

Once again it's the campaign that's better organized and supported by folks who understand how the democratic process works and the importance of their part in it

once again people are gonna cry foul. WHEN IT'S THEIR OWN DAMNED FAULT. even Jesus Christ fed the masses with a couple of fish and a hunk of bread. Fucking Sanders would cause a traffic jam during a 2 car funeral in a town with one stop sign

This is really symptomatic of the whole revolution....people think just voting for Sanders will fix all the problems....it's the clueless leading the clueless

I don't see the clueless leading the clueless. I see a mediocre senator from a tiny, cute state who's padding his retirement fund $27 a pop. Every time he cries foul, he banks another pocketful.

so. If they're so above "party" politics & labels, why would they want to intrude in either party's primary process?

What is wrong with the Sanders' people? Are they really so low as to make trouble at the polls and expect that there won't be repercussions? They really are getting low and nasty like their angry candidate! I'm not surprised. I'd like to see the media excuse this fiasco!
