MILWAUKEE Chelsea Clinton, Hillary Clintons daughter, will be making a campaign swing through Wisconsin, including Milwaukee on Thursday, March 24th.
Hillary Clintons campaign says Chelsea will be making the stops in the Badger State to encourage Wisconsinites to vote for Hillary Clinton in the April 5th primary.
Chelsea Clinton will attend events in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Madison to talk with primary voters about how her mother will make a difference for families as president and break down barriers that hold them back.
More details for those interested in attending are coming soon.

(1,968 posts)or is she relying on surrogates for the state?
Not that WI is that important in terms of delegates, but the optics of an upset win would be nice.

(15,951 posts)I do hope it is more time than she gave to Arizona (which was one rally). It worked out OK in Arizona but as a Wisconsinite I believe this state will be very close. I'll be doing some phone banking this weekend.
but don't know the campaign calculus. She may not want to strongly compete for a state she feels she'll lose and get bad optics from.
Personally, I think she has a tolerable chance, won't lose by much if she does, and has the potential for a major upset in a state that should be a Bernie stronghold.

(15,951 posts)the polls are close and besides even if she loses she wants to get as high of a vote as she can for the delegates. I do see Madison/Dane County as a Bernie stronghold but think that Hillary can do well in the Milwaukee area.
