"OK, Bernie. When you match the amount of $ Hillary has raised to support down-ticket D candidates in 2016 and you send that $ to those candidates, I'll maybe think about switching my vote to you. Until then, fuck off!"

She's ahead in Pledged Delegates by the hundreds. She's ahead in the popular vote by millions. And you know what? If you got your wish, she'd be winning by an even bigger margin"

It was still logged in my Disqus profile though, so I thought I might repost it here.
Dear Super-Delegates,
The candidate you've chosen to support, Hillary Clinton, is failing. She has only managed to earn the most votes so far in the primary, more than 2.5 million more votes than I've earned. Another bad sign is that she has won more states than I have. And on top of all that bad news, she has earned more pledged delegates than I have. But you should really switch to me, because I've been arguing for months now that we should listen to the voters, but since they didn't back me, I don't care about those voters any more. Screw them, and make me the nominee anyway, even though I clearly didn't earn it.
Sincerely,
Bernie Sanders.
What do you think? Is that really over-the-line enough to be removed?

(145,321 posts)The bernie bro was silly enough to post this exchange and show how dumb he is. I love the response from a super delegate who had been in the union for 40 years and worked in the trenches http://usuncut.com/politics/alaska-superdelegate/
YOUNGER: And thats why people get angry. Bernie supporters can be quite vapid. But voting in opposition to what we voted for is only supporting the idea that Hillary and her supporting super delegates are in the pockets of others.
Bernie won in Alaska. End of story. Your personal preferences for president are represented in your vote as a citizen. Not as a representative of your state.
METCALFE: Im in the pocket of no one. I have no financial connections to Hillary Clinton or any other Democrat. I am a retired union representative. I put in my time in the trenches for 40 years, and I really object to someone like you who has probably done nothing except caucus telling me what to do. I am voting for the best interests of my country. And that would be Hillary Clinton.
I am amused that the bernie bro posted this exchange.

(23,691 posts)They think the S/D's are supposed to follow the voters in their area. They don't understand or don't like the fact that the S/D's are independent of any voters and can make their own decisions. The funny thing is Tad Devine, BS's campaign manager, was on the task force that developed the system of the S/D.
