I知 done with Bernie Sanders: Why this democratic socialist is voting for Hillary Clinton

Bernie's not a more progressive choice, just a different one. The more I compare the two, the less I feel the Bern

http://www.salon.com/2016/04/04/im_done_with_bernie_sanders_why_this_democratic_socialist_is_voting_for_hillary_clinton/

Both Clinton and Sanders are effective progressive fighters. Sanders is not a purer progressive choice, merely a different one. While this piece has examined the holes in the Sanders mythology, I believe without reservation that both Democratic candidates represent positive values and a more progressive path to the future.

When I head into the polling booth, I’m looking for the person with the best proven record of influencing positive change. I will vote for the Democratic nominee in the general election. Period.

The strongest person in this primary race is Hillary Clinton, a successful Secretary of State whose career has been marked by bold positions on major issues, like granting children access to healthcare and ensuring the rights of women abroad.

I’m proud to cast my vote, once again, for a whip-smart, pragmatic and effective progressive woman. And I can’t wait for little girls across this country to hear the phrase “Madame President” for the first time in history.

Most importantly, I’m proud to cast my vote for a party that has shown moral growth and represents the best of our country, as opposed to the greed and fear-driven party of opposition.

This is a very Good Read. I have only posted the concluding paras.

Salon's vicious attacks towards Hillary and the nasty ass commentators have chased me away. He's getting hammered on his Facebook/Twitter page. Gawd they are so nasty.

for flags by the Bernie Bros. Then the moderators put you "under review." They ghost you, in other words, but don't tell you, so it looks like you're still active when really no one can see anything you say. Emails to their support address go unanswered.

Silver linings, though. Their comment system is butt (an old LiveFyre version long-since replaced with better versions that Salon won't pay for) and their articles are so junked up with advertising that it's a blessing now to not see my browser bogged down trying to load their nonsense.

And some of the anti-Clinton comments I've seen them let stand without deleting. So disgusting.

To the previous version of Salon, may she rest in peace.

I said something bad about Bernie, and 7 of his supporters had me banned for a week . The worst part was it was about a post I made in the Hillary forum !

Since they banned me from the SBS forum some months back merely for asking them not to continue repeating RW GOPer TPs against Hillary, I don't even bother to look at the nasties posted against her over there.

We have posted nothing comparable against Bernie here.

But, instead of educating people about the way lackluster civic engagement will lead to the eventual doom of the nation, Sanders engages in bizarre friendly fire that weakens the candidate who’s most likely to win and do something about this: Hillary Clinton.

Big Oil. Wall Street. Special Interests. Sen. Sanders talks about “the Secretary,” as he not-so-affectionately calls her, with a venom that stands at odds with reality and flirts troublingly with the sexist caricature the far-Right has been painting of her for decades.

But Salon was all over the place today. Instead of a slew of anti-Hillary articles, today they had only one and also a 'why Bernie is losing' article that pretty much contradicted the anti-Hillary piece. Maybe they're resting up for a big surge of Hillary hate prior to NY.
